Eternal Rest Grant Unto him O, LORD
and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen. May his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace. Amen.
Dr. Stephen K. Karanja is gone.
This is a great man; a saint of GOD, a soldier in the army of the LORD; a great life defender and couragious doctor. He was so selfless and forthright that enough people in this world of lies could not tolerate him. He was gifted with eloquence and pragmatism. He truly had the spirit of St. Stephen, the first of the Apostles of Jesus to be martyred.

I first met him in person in his office when covid 19 struck. The purpose was to help him set up zoom in his gadgets and help him navigate through so he could be in a position to participate in virtual meetings. He was to give our Family Life Group a talk on The Untold Stories of Contraceptives, which would be his first interaction with the technology. We then worked on the Kenya Catholic Doctors' Association (KCDA) presentation to the Senate in defense of the ProLife stand on Abortion, and we have been in one team ever since.

Kenya, and indeed Africa, has lost a hero in every manner. We shall miss him in our midst. He was a great teacher and taught us many things. His spirit shall continue to be among us and with us. He is happy in heaven having fought the good fight and finished the race. We are blessed to have worked with him, learned from him, laughed with him, stayed with him in the battlefield. Carry on, old man, carry on! Angels are happy to welcome you in the courtyard of the LORD. Pray for us that are left in this pilgrim journey. We shall meet again.

If everyone employed just a little bit of more brainpower, even this covid19 would cease to exist within 2 weeks at most.
